Below is a list of weekly Luck of the Draw tournaments in the local MMDL areas. We recommend calling ahead to make sure an LOD is still active. Post below in this thread if you have a correction to the info listed below or can confirm that a specific draw is inactive or to suggest adding a new one.

The tournaments at the GLoucester Fraternity club on thurs and the post 507 in lynn on Friday are no longer running.Not sure about Reading or the Sports Page

Colleen still runs a draw on occasion at the Sports Page. Usually for a specific reason. She usually gets a decent turnout on a Sunday Night following a Port City or Seacoast type of tournament.

The entry fee is $5, $1 mystery out, the bar puts in after 16 players, not sure of amount yet. There will also be dogs, burgers , fries, onion rings available at cheap prices. We have cheap drinks, you can smoke, we also have 3 boards downstairs plus 7 more upstairs. We are looking forward to getting this of the ground and get saturday lod's back going.

I'lll be checking this out. I'd think you might want to talk to the bar about some type of match for less than 16 (say 10-16). Also, how much are they putting in? Dart players like to know what they're playing for.

Peter Jones is running the event. He is a longtime MMDL player and shoots on a team out of Sidelines.
I've been to Sidelines and it's a nice place to shoot. They had 5 boards when I was there last winter, plus some very good food and beverage at reasonable prices. Easy enough to get to, only 10 minutes from the highway on Route 24.

Starting next Thursday November 4th there will be a new night for darts at the Town Tavern (formerly the Liberty/R & R in Rockland)
Format will vary week to week based on attendance. Sign up time is 7:30-8:00 with a start time ASAP after 8:00 P.M.
12 or more shooters there will be a standard Luck of the Draw... Bar adding cash to the pot...possiblility of 2 rounds based on number of shooters $7 entry with $2 going toward a mistery out... There will be a Triple shoot option as well...with a 3/4 pot payout max.
11 or fewer will be a Shanghai... Bar doubling the pot for one practice board a night...with the option of more based on player desires and rounds played. $3 entry per round of shanghai... There will be a triple shoot option as well that will be ongoing with the LOD
By having both playing options there should always be darts on a Thursday night. 4 boards Great beer selection Great food... And great people...
So come on down to the Town Tavern on Thursday November 4th for the kick off of "Thursday Night Darts at the Tavern"

If anyone is in the Weymouth area...there are Luck of the Draw tournaments at the Cliffhanger Bar & Grill in Weymouth every Thursday. The entry fee is $5.00. Sign in by 7:30 and it begins at 8:00. if anyone is in the area of worcester, ma around the area of route 20 stop by madigan's again to play the lod. starts at 8pm and its $6 to enter. each time your partner doubles out you pay $1. and if you and your partner lose two times your done and eliminated from the tournament. stop by its alot of fun and you meet nice people.
Dunno if someone will see this in time but.... I'm heading into town from Dallas and was looking for an LOD tourny for thursday. Going off the list, there are quite a few that are no longer running... Can someone give me a good idea where to go for a decent turnout?
